provides robust feature set, affordable cost, and dedicated service

Rochester, New York, June 8, 2021.  aycan, a recognized worldwide leader in medical imaging, announced today that Memphis Radiological, P.C. (MRPC) in Germantown, Tennessee replaced all their now discontinued eFilm Workstations with the aycan universal thin client viewers.

The vendor-neutral aycan universal thin client viewer integrated seamlessly into MRPC’s workflow. “Our group switched from eFilm to aycan’s viewer, and it has been amazing,” said Chris McCann, Clinical Director, Memphis Radiological, P.C.  “The program is more efficient and has the same tools for the radiologists to use as eFilm. The support aycan has to offer also vastly exceeds that of any other vendor.”

An FDA 510(k) cleared medical device that can be used for primary diagnosis or review purposes, the aycan universal thin client viewer ensures a prompt and reliable way to search, view, and analyze medical images, signals, and video files on computers, smartphones, and tablets.

These and all aycan solutions support our customers’ need for efficient, integrated solutions that improve quality and productivity while lowering costs,” said Frank Burkhardt, aycan Director, North & Latin American Operations.  “Also, as part of our commitment to achieving one hundred percent customer satisfaction, we offer customers immediate, live, remote service and support for all our fielded solutions. Our dedicated and qualified technical support team is there to help resolve any issues, including working with other third-party vendors as necessary,” added Burkhardt.

aycan also offers aycan workstation as an eFilm replacement. aycan workstation is an FDA 510(k) cleared, vendor-neutral, highly functional advanced image-processing tool and DICOM PACS workstation for conventional, multi-slice, and other image reading.

IBM Watson Health announced earlier this year that eFilm Workstation would reach end of support on June 30, 2022, and no sales orders would be taken after April 30, 2021.
