History of Innovation

Founded in Germany in 1996, aycan continues to improve and expand its offering to meet the ever changing needs of its customers with un-compromised
technology and services.

aycan was founded in Germany in 1996 by radiologists and German engineers with the introduction of aycan xray-print, the original DICOM paper-print solution. Built on this success and core competency in DICOM technology, aycan expanded their offering with other innovative medical imaging solutions, such as PACS, DICOM viewing/distribution and systems integration and service. Committed to improving patient care, while increasing productivity and driving down costs, aycan continues to improve and expand its offering to meet the ever changing needs of its customers with uncompromised technology and services. aycan operates in Europe and the United States, with headquarters in Wuerzburg, Germany, and Rochester, New York. The company is privately held.
