New MedDream DICOM Viewer facilitates linking to AI platforms

Rochester, New York, November 2, 2023.  aycan, a recognized leader in medical imaging, announced today that the new version of Softneta’s MedDream HTML5 Zero-Footprint DICOM Viewer is now available. Version 8.3.0 includes some new features defined by aycan and developed with technology partner Softneta to meet the unique needs of AI4MedImaging Medical Solutions, which specializes in applying artificial intelligence (AI) to medical imaging.

AI4MedImaging incorporated the MedDream DICOM Viewer as part of its new solution AI4CMR, a software as a medical device (SaMD) that aims to automate the interpretation of cardiac magnetic resonance imaging (CMR) using artificial intelligence.

This latest version of the MedDream DICOM Viewer offers new features and improvements, including 4D Imaging, Improved MPR, Improved PET/CT Fusion, Histogram Y-Axis Zooming, and the extension of the external plugins interface for AI as a result of the integration work done by aycan for AI4MedImaging.

The web-based MedDream DICOM Viewer ensures a prompt and reliable way to search, view, analyze, and diagnose medical images, signals, and video files from anywhere and on any device. MedDream is FDA-cleared for diagnostic use, including mammographic images, and is CE Class IIb certified as a medical device that can be used for review purposes or even primary diagnosis.
